Sometimes a friendly reminder is not enough for us to believe in the wise advise and public safety reminders such as don’t drink and drive. Now, there is a really morbid and visually disturbing “don’t text and drive video” campaign guaranteed to make you think twice before reaching for your mobile phone while driving.
Some people might criticize this ad but I back this campaign all the way. Fear is a very strong motivator and if this is the only way to let people know about the impact of texting while driving then so be it. Accidents and deaths caused by drunk driving and other forms of distracted driving are very real. The ad campaign should also capture this reality and this time it did.
Don’t text and drive…ever.
